1969 "Boss 302"

FORD BRONCO

Introducing the 1969 Boss 302 “FT” Classic Ford Bronco — a no-compromise, high-performance build that takes the legendary first-generation Bronco and pushes it into entirely new territory. Named for the Boss 302 Coyote engine at its heart, this build pairs serious off-road suspension engineering with a fully bespoke interior and a premium audio system that rivals anything on four wheels. From the aggressive Buckaroo hood to the forged beadlock wheels, every decision on this truck was made with one goal in mind: build something exceptional.

Exterior:

The exterior of this Classic Ford Bronco makes a statement before you ever turn the key. Bold black gloss paint provides a striking canvas for the Wild Horses 4×4 Buckaroo hood, which gives the front end an aggressive, muscular profile that hints at the power underneath. A DC Broncos soft top frame supports a custom in-house soft top crafted from premium convertible canvas with a luxurious Alcantara headliner, delivering open-air capability with a refined fit and finish. Up front, a Proto Fab front non-winch bumper keeps the lines clean and purposeful, while out back a James Duff rear spare tire carrier integrates seamlessly with the original rear bumper for a factory-correct look with added functionality. JW Speaker LED retro-style headlights and matching JW Speaker fog lights deliver modern visibility wrapped in a vintage aesthetic. The Bronco sits on a James Duff 3.5″ Monster kit with long extended radius arms and heim joints — a serious suspension setup that provides exceptional articulation and control — complemented by a 1″ body lift for Coyote swap clearance. Forged 17″ beadlock wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich 33×12.50R17 Mud Terrain tires complete the stance with a combination of strength, grip, and unmistakable presence.

Premium Interior
Open the door and you are met with a cabin that has been built to the highest standard from floor to ceiling. Full custom leather seating features perforated inserts with double diamond stitching, combining visual depth with genuine comfort for both driver and passengers. A custom-designed dash houses the Dakota Digital gauge cluster, providing precise, modern readouts in a layout that suits the classic cockpit. At the center sits an Alpine double DIN head unit with Apple CarPlay for seamless smartphone integration and navigation. The audio system is where this build truly separates itself — a Focal 5-channel amplifier drives ASC original kick panel enclosures loaded with 6.5″ Focal component speakers, an ASC original 10″ subwoofer enclosure with a dedicated Focal sub, and rear quarter flush-mounted 6.5″ Focal coaxial speakers for immersive surround sound throughout the cabin. Climate control comes courtesy of a Vintage Air Gen 5 AC kit, the latest generation delivering efficient, ice-cold air on demand. An Icon 4×4 center console anchors the cabin with clean storage and accessible controls, while a backup camera provides confidence in reverse. Power windows and Billet sun visors round out an interior that refuses to cut corners on any detail.

Boss 302 Performance:

The beating heart of this build is a Coyote engine pulled from a Boss 302 — a high-revving, naturally aspirated powerhouse that delivers the kind of throttle response and top-end pull that modern forced-induction engines simply cannot replicate. The drivetrain sits on the stock chassis, preserving the Bronco’s original geometry and structural integrity. Up front, the factory Dana 30 has been replaced with a Currie Dana 44, providing the strength and reliability demanded by the increased power and larger tires. Out back, a 9″ rear axle with 31-spline limited-slip differential puts the power to the ground with confidence, whether you are navigating a fire road or merging onto the freeway. This is a powertrain and chassis combination built to be driven hard, driven often, and driven with a grin on your face every single time.
